About Skoona Moova® and Jack of all Trays®

Inventor John Braams and entrepreneur David Nevell are the Directors of Inventors Express Pty Ltd, established in July 2004 to develop, manufacture and market Skoona MoovaÒ the re-usable, foldaway, pocket-sized, one-handed drinks carrier.

Manufactured and marketed in Australia, the Skoona Moova® has no rivals.  It is available on the Internet through www.skoonamoova.com and is progressively being introduced to the Canadian, USA, European and the UK markets which are also expressing interest.

Inventor John Braams invented the Skoona Moova® after many years of watching people carrying glasses in hotels, at sporting events and in crowds and realising that a device which would allow bar staff and members of the public to carry more than a couple of glasses at a time efficiently, without breaking them or having wasteful spillage, was needed.

A seemingly simple device however the Skoona MoovaÒ design has evolved and passed many tests.  Once these issues were addressed Inventors Express Pty Ltd was ready to commence the manufacturing process.

David Nevell is passionate about Australian manufacturing and is concerned that too many good inventions are manufactured overseas.  Believing that Australia is every bit as capable of manufacturing products at competitive prices, he was keen to keep this invention in Australia. Where it is not possible to compete alternative manufacturing is pursued.

It was of paramount importance that the Skoona Moova® be sturdy and long lasting and that all of its component parts were of excellent quality and found a local tooling company to make the mould.

Inventors Express Pty Ltd has registered global patent applications in place.   It has registered the Skoona Moova® trademark with the intention of building it into a global brand.  The products second name “Jack of All Trays”® is also a registered Trade mark in Australia.

In July 2005, after successfully raising investment capital they were ready to start manufacturing and proceeded to get their marketing efforts underway.

The market embraced the Skoona Moova® and the “Jack of All Trays®” can now be purchased from over 100 retail outlets in Australia thanks to the distribution and sales effort of Geoff Bielby and Villa Mondo our national distributor.  Inventors Express Pty Ltd have also appointed agents in Canada and USA and are looking to expand this distribution in the near future.

A major highlight for John and David is that they will appear on the Miller Beer ‘Able Challenger’ 2007 Calendar that is being finalized and prepared for US distribution.

Inventors Express Pty Ltd is also in negotiations with large sporting fixtures, festivals and exhibitions to use Skoona MoovaÒ for their staff and also for promotions as the tray’s surface can easily be branded.
